Promotion Tasks Objective Set is the tasks a Sim must do to be promoted. Most Sims careers have the same emotion throughout, but for some levels I’ll pick a different one. I like to choose one regardless, for flavour reasons. I’ve read that Ideal Emotion doesn’t currently function in game any more. Once you have several levels available, you can also drag-and-drop in the Values list to change their order.
Then, click the blank level in the Values list to display the options for editing it.
SIMS 4 CUSTOM CAREERS PLUS
Under Values, click the plus symbol to add a new blank level. The main thing to do on this screen is to add levels to your career. This is our first career, so leave Overmax for now. I’ve not touched this yet, in part because I’ve never got to the top of a career tree in Sims and it’s hard to visualise how a mechanism works if you’ve not played it in game in part because it’s good to aim for balance in careers unless there’s a good reason not to.
The Overmax box allows us to tinker with these parameters. When you get to the end of a career ladder in Sims 4, you will still continue gaining bonuses and extra rewards if you go into work with a good performance. This doesn’t look great though, so make or find an evocative image that’s big. For my witch career, I haven’t yet made such a screenshot, so for now it’s just another default Maxis picture. The image, however, is the large splash image that’s a screenshot of a sim in the chosen carer doing the activity. The icon used here will be shown in the scrolling list of careers I use the same cauldron icon throughout so right now I’m not sure what’s the difference between the icon chosen in the previous Career Overview page vs this one. The description will be shown when a player is choosing between different careers, so make it flavourful. The Career name here will actually be shown to the player and used throughout the game. The first is Career Track Info, and this will be shown to the player when they are choosing careers for their Sim. The Start Track page comes with a couple of Components already present. if the thing you want to do isn’t visible, try looking at the other page instead. If you get lost later on, remember that there are actually two pages which feel like the “homepage” for careers – this overview page, and the Start Track page. This pops up a second page, which we will be filling out in this tutorial. On the career overview page, click Open Element: Start Track. When you think about joining a career in the Sims 4, you initiate a pre-determined set of steps – a start track. In this tutorial, we will add some levels and enough information to playtest a basic career.
SIMS 4 CUSTOM CAREERS MOD
However, I’ve included a script mod that disables this, so the game will only use outfits you set.
This will effect both open careers from Get to Work, and closed careers from the base game.īy default, the game will still generate new outfits when you start a career or get promoted to a level that has a default one, which will erase any changes you made. Additionally, your Sim will always be pushed to switch to that outfit when going to work, even if there isn’t an outfit associated with the current career level. As the name implies, it allows you to customize your Sims’ career outfits. This mod adds a new interaction, “Plan Career Outfit” to the dresser. Want to customize your Sim’s career oufit? Now you can! No longer will you be stuck with the outfit the game assigns you. The Sims 4 Mod: Customizable Career Outfits
